I installed a GM bug deflector today. Very nice fit and easy installation. The kit also came with some double side tape that is supposed to go between the windshield and the "windshield reveil trim".

This is supposed to prevent chattering.

Do I really need it? I drove it to work this evening and didn't hear anything.

Thanks for any info,

Mark

OK. I got the message. I'll have to get my 10 year old daughter to show me how to put pictures onto my 'puter.

I'm a little dumb on this 'puter stuff.

Anybody have a part # on that shield?

12499133 is the part # for my 05 Sierra. Here is the website for GM accessories http://www.gmgoodwrench.com/ I think mine looks great. Just took a couple of minutes to install.

Driving about 70 yesterday into a 10 mph wind and noticed the chattering. Installed the double sided tape as per instructions under the windshield reviel trim.

Will see if that stops it.
