Any comments, good or bad, on the Speedbrake? I pull a heavy Toyhauler and spend a lot of time in the CO mountains. Also do I buy directly from Banks or do vendors handle them to.

Thanks,
Dwight

There's a pretty detailed write up in the "Banks" section at the bottom. I'll post up a link for you. You can also order it direct and I can walk you through using it over the phone. It's really simiple to use. If you need a price just PM me with your phone number and I'll give you a call:D

Here is another thread on the subject. Banks Speed Brake on a 2006 LBZ Dually (http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=277933&highlight=speedbrake). Lots of reading.
A similar factory option has been used on the Kodiak Medium Duty Trucks since 2006.

I love mine, and I believe that I have posted such in the second thread. I didn't really 'love the price' of it (even though Banks hooked me up when I called in about it :D ), but I have no idea how much R and D went into making it so user friendly. All in all, if you have the money to drop on it, it is worth the money. I was running through the CO passes with about $150k worth of truck, trailer and rigs (rock buggy, built TJ and my supper pimped out (i.e. well built but beat to crap) 78 chevy) that grossed at almost 31k lbs and it did me well.
