I have been using Rain-X on the windows for some time and now I have noticed they are harder to clean and the windshield streaks more. So I switched to using wax now. Anyone else had this problem or experience with this? Thanks

Yes, but only then I cleaned my windshield with my wipers. So, now I clean it every time I get gas with there cleaner. However, Socal doesn't have muck adverse weather so I never use my wipers now unless I'm out of state.

I remember a thread on this a while back.....IIRC the cure was to clean entire window with a wax remover ...(Precleano) and wash again with water then reapply your Rainx. You will be able to find the wax remover at any store that sells paint supplies for automobiles.

I get less haze and streaks with Rain-X when applying it to a cool windshield, but it still takes some elbow grease to polish it out. I use Rain-X washer fluid and silicone wiper blades with good results.

I been using Rain X for over 20 years and it is the best..... Apply to the windshield twice a month two coats very wet in 2 minutes then use paper towles to dry. Side windows do twice a year. Never use WAX. I drive at 70 and no wipers at times. Just the way I do it. Enjoy

I remember a long time ago using RainX and having the streaking. The stuff is made so you have to keep using it. Nothing on the windshield works best.

Well I was able to get everything off of it and get it nice and clean, so I am going to try that for a while and see what happens. Just wanted to know who else if anyone was having that problem... Time will tell and we will see what works best.

I only put rainx on once a year and it still beads good enough that I don't need my wipers here in Socal. Yes, we do get some hard rain even in all of the other states I have lived in the most I have had to put it on was 3 times a year.

Is there a way we can vote for your truck and not become a member?

This is the shi@! Far superior to rain-X. Get it on E-bay. Here's a link to thier website. It's made by ppG. Same folks that make windshields.
