I finally bought a lift and am in the install process right now. I ended up with the tuff country 6" ez ride. I took the lower control arms off, and forgot to mark where they sat in there. Now what the heck do i do, honestly, where do i start and how do i set them back up again????? how do you know where to line up the notches?????
Any help would be awesome, thanks.

Lower control arms are only left or right. Now for the torsin bars, according to my Cognito instructions, they are left or right. Mine had stickers on them. Check the end of them, they might have an "R" and "L" on them. I can go look at mine....
What notches?

Don't think that really matters. I didn't mark mine as to which flat went to which flat.
I just put them back in left to left and right to right.

Just went out and looked, my left one has an "L" on the aft end of the torsion bar with a counterclockwise arrow and the right one has an "R" with a clockwise arrow on it. 966 on the left and 965 on the right what ever those numbers mean.

line the notch up so the arm is just right below the the piece that holds the bolt. Its hard to explain but it can really only go in one way. It will be very obvious if you have it wrong. It shouldnt hurt anything either if you have it wrong. If its wrong it will either be too low and sit on the bump stop of the a-arm or too high and you wont be able to put enough tension on it to even get the adjusting bolt in place. as far as adjusting the bolt...put it wherever you want. Most will make the front even with the back. if it is too high it will make suspension parts wear quicker but I had mine level for years with no problem. I know alot of people have. if your woried make it an inch lower then the back. In my opinion make sure you get a good wheel alignment. This will make the biggest difference for a lifted truck lasting parts. good luck

Where is this notch located? Must of missed it! I didn't really know there was only one way for the torsion bar to go into the key or lower control arm except for left and right...Just wanting to learn something! :o:
