Just curious if anyone had seen or know who sells side exit pipes.I saw a F-250 or 350 diesel a few months ago with them on it.They had two pipes close together exiting on the right about mid bed between cab and rear axle, thing sounded freakin awesome too.

It will make a mess of the truck and probably ruin your wheels as well. Remember in 97 Ford did that on their F150s? They switched all of them to behind the wheels because it was ruining their wheels especially in winter.

Few people have done it with our trucks. If you look under there, the goofy drop frame makes it hard/impossible to make it look right. It virtually has to go under the frame rail, which makes it look kinda goofy.
I'd be fine with cleaning the wheel, but I'd like it to exit right below the body, and that isn't going to happen on our trucks....you'd see the big drop.
Looks cool on the other brands though.

On the Fords it wasn't an issue of cleaning the wheel, it was actually damaging the wheel. The clear coat was peeling off the aluminum etc.

Kind of macho, though, huh?

There is a powerstroke around my area that has a single 4 or 5 inch exiting just behing the crew cab. It looks pretty cool he has the tip turned down so the smoke blows on the ground. I dont know how much of a mess it makes on the truck. I finally got a chance to race him about a week ago. It must have been a 7.3 because I beat him pretty bad.

I rode in the back of a F-350 crewcab that had I think a 5" pipe exiting in front of the wheel. Just idleing around the construction site I couldn't hear myself think. I hate to imagine what it would be like out on the road.

i made a single 4" catback that exited in front of the rear wheel. it looked pretty good, but i didn't take any pics of it before i took it off. i had to clean the rear wheel at least once a week depending on what tune i had installed. i ended up taking it off because it was too loud with the windows down. if i put it back on, i'll make sure and take some pics. it was a piece of cake to make.
