Here's the scoop: Have a Hypertech for a 2004 LB7, been running on the top setting for sometime. Picked up our Toyhauler (15000lb), I decided to drop the setting down to 1, and maybe roll stock until I got the exhaust done. Long story short, had the trailer hooked up during programming, and the programmer said (interrupted). Tried to restart, and got a 7C code on the Hypertech. Truck won’t start now either, the glow plug light doesn't come on when you turn the key to start. Unplugged the batteries 8 times, nothing... Had someone from a local shop bring a Tech 2 up, he couldn't fix it either, even with the mapping downloaded prior... <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>

<o:p></o:p>

My question is: New ECM, or something less financial invasive? Or could I grab a Banks Tuner, and try and start over? <o:p></o:p>

Did the battery voltage get low during the programming?

You might have to reflash the ECM with the Tech 2. Best bet would be to call hypertek but you would probably have to wait until monday now.

The Battery looked to be around 13, maybe a little low but not much... We tried to re-flash, and received those codes from the Tech 2 12, an 6 codes... What the freak with Hypertech, they should at least have an emergency number... What about trying a new Banks tuner, and seeing if that will override everything?

Anything that plugs into the harness wont do anything either, that just changes the information going to the computer and what is sent out.

Sounds like the computer decided to go out. Never had it happen though.
