Can anyone please tell me how I can determine the length of shock I need to buy for my truck. I currently have no shocks installed to measure from. I know I need to measure from bracket to bracket. But how do I determine what length to buy.
When sitting level on the ground the rear measures 24.5" center to center of the bolt holes on the mounting brackets.
Thanks A ton

What type of lift, and how high over stock?

Your best bet would be to contact one of our supporting vendors who specialize in suspension systems. You can see 'em and ask 'em here: http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=258428
The alternative is to take your truck to someone local - perhaps an offroad or performance shop.
The bottom line is that if you're not sure if it has a lift kit or not, you're going to have to get someone to tell you... good luck!

It has a lift, I just do not know the "brand" or height.
The block under the rear spring measures 3". And I am not sure how to measure the front.
Never the less is there just not a simple way to measure for shock length?

Not that I am an expert, but if it has a lift on the front and it has new crossmembers on it, measure the distance the original lower control arm mount bolt is from the original position. Maybe pics of the front lift??? Just an idea....
