Hello All,
I have replaced and relocated my PMD about 1 year ago(less than 5,000 miles).
About 6 months ago I also replaced the lift pump(500 miles).
5 days also I got my A/C working again(compressor clutch)
Yesterday was the first time I had taker the truck out for longer than 30 miles since I fixed the PMD. I was helping a buddy move at it was after about 100 miles I stopped at a red light and the when I went to pull away the truck stumbled. About 10 miles later at anther intersection the truck stalled., but started right back up.
On the trip back home it stumbled a few times, then after about 100 miles it stalled.
Today I took if for a quick 10 min run and it stumbled and stalled. it seems to always stumble when I floor it.
Today I replaced the fuel filter and did the lift pump test. When I was replacing the filter it seemed fine. I went to bleed it and fuel came out the top and all. Then I tried using the t-fitting and no fuel came out and the truck died. After a few cranks the truck started again. I cracked the bleed cap on the filter and no fuel came out and the truck ran for a few mins before stalling.
Could it be an intermittent lift pump issue? are lift pumps known to fail so quickly. Could it be something else?
Thanks for your help!
