There is a plug on the bottom of the fuel filter on the passenger side of the engine. Loosen it until clean fuel comes out, then tighten it. This may be a good opportunity to change the fuel filter if you haven't done that in a while.

Your is the first I have heard of!

But after you follow the drain instructions, and IF you do not swap the filter, then you will have to reprime the fuel system as well!

mine said the same thing. i changed the filter and the WIF sensor still no change. found out it was a wire in the harness that had rubbed through and was grouning on one of the brackets above the ficm...took me a while to find the problem but after i fixed it i found a few others that had the same thing happen.

Go to Wal-Mart and get you a can of Seafoam. I do this religiously once or twice a month, take no chances. Add one can to full tank. This will take care of any water issue in system. You might still have an issue with wiring or something, however the water will not be in system after applying this stuff. I have been using it for over 20 years. Damn underground fuel tanks.
