Just a quick question I wondered about.....Most the aftermarket exhaust companies make several different exhausts with different grades of stainless, ranging anywhere from the $300 range to the $800 range. All of the systems have a lifetime warranty so what is the difference/advantage/disadvantage of the more expensive priced stainless systems over the lower priced ones from the same company?

Some companies offer 304 ss which is much more expensive. But typically you get 409ss, and they are should be similar in cost. if you have any questions let me know.

T409 is a mild grade of stainless that in time will develop some surface rust. It wont rust through though. T304 is a high grade of stainless with high levels of nickel and chromium which make it very corrosion resistant. It will not develop rust like T409 which make it a great choice for show trucks or lifted trucks where the exhaust can clearly be seen.
