My roommate has a 99 F250 7.3L. The other day he told me he had a coolant leak and the valley was filling up with coolant. So I checked it out and it had about 1/4 of coolant sitting on the valley. I figured itd be something like a line was spraying it down there but all the lines checked out. Anywyas, right now as it sits it has the intake and turbo off of it and the driver side intake manifold. I found a little bit of oily coolant residue in the back intake port. I dont know how its got in the valley or where its coming from, Im going to do a pressure test tomorrow and hope that shows me where it is. Any ideas? thanks.

The motor has something like 260K miles on it, banks 6 gun, 6 inch lift, and 36's.

Nothing off the top of my head, I would recommend a psi test. I do know that motor will not like the 6-gun with that many miles. Just a heads up.

I stuck the whole thing back together tonight out in the rain...good times. Anyways, coolant leak is gone. Kind of mysterious. But the injection pump started pissin fuel out of the back of it where a line comes in. Shoulda talked him into buying GM...He just put new rims and tires and some of Up country fabs 8 inch stacks on there, so he just tied a good chunk of money into it to have this thing just sittin in the driveway looking pretty.

no idea...it just disappered. I took it apart to try and find it. Put it back together because he needs the truck to be movable and now the leak is gone....crazy stuff
