im lookin at a 07 lbz with 43,000 miles. i lookin to get wheels tires proly 33s turbo back exhaust, tuner and eventually cognito leveling kit, should i bother with buyin the add on warranty? do you all have to claim much or are they pretty trouble free and i dont do it and save that money for goodies? i have been surfin here for the last 9 months or so reading i do know they dont have to many issues maybe tranny lines for example but whats the vote

If your gonna mod it like you posted don't waste your money, everything will be denied.
Not much trouble if your getting a LBZ but if it's a LMM I would get the warranty and not mod it at all.

dwrat is probably right, however it depends on your relationship with your dealer, with my mods (minor) the service manager told me not to worry if i have any troubles in the future (i do know him personally);) but like i said it depends on your situation, I have an extended warranty as well.

A lot of exteneded warranty companies will send an inspector if the repair bill is going to be over a certain amount. They bring a camera and take pictures of your truck and any add ons you may have. Makes it easy to question any clamis that you file.
