I have some mods done to my truck nothing crazy and I don't beat on it but I want to know if I can use 4X4 on the street for traction or if I will destroy everything? Raced a civic with a turbo cut through the hood and would have beat him if I wasn't burning the tires.

You will need Tie Rod Sleeves at the least to keep the tie rods together.
