I had mine in my 03 fixed last summer and it was working good then. Has not been warm enough her to try it this spring. Mine was fixed by the last TSB posted for AC.:cool2:

I am not sure what years are suppose to be affected but I have not had any issues with mine at this time, Knock on wood, and hopefully I will not. Gets hot here in Texas too and it is already starting....

I moved to the D.C. area a year and a half ago from south GA/AL area. Since I moved here, i bought the new 04.5. After listening to all the complaining of these pansy a$$ folks up here about how hot and humid it is, i still don't know if my AC in my truck works, matter of fact, I can't remember breaking a sweat since i got here. And I too will probably have the heat on in the morning tomorrow.

By the way Burner, what year truck are you driving? You have posted almost 2,000 posts and still don't have the signiture filled out?

Click here for the TBS on the AC Poor A/C (http://dieselplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=12476&highlight=02-01-38-007C) They did it to mine and it sure helped. I do not need it this time of year here we just had 6 inches of snow yesterday.

Since yours is a 2003, you are a candidate for the accumulator update described in the TSB link posted by BIGMoe.

I think you will notice a nice improvement. Here is a link to a prior thread discussing the poor cooling and the upgrade. I posted the before and after results in note number 61.
