I'm getting a "cylinder 4 misfire detected" code. The first thing I did when I got the truck was isolate the wire harness rub issue with hose - there was no wear on the wires. I have already ice picked #2 & #7. Do ya'll think this is #4 telling me he's coming loose on the connection and needs the pick too? I should mention I just ran a 32oz bottle of power service through the tank to possibly help with my surging issue, could the additive make a cylinder misfire? The truck seems to run normal otherwise, I'm hoping it's nothing major.

Have you looked at the alternator bracket for the rub through problem?

Ya, that's what I meant by isolating the harness rub issue.

imo it wouldn't hurt to try the ice pick method on the #4
