Truck just died while idling through a parking lot. When I try to start it the starter spins the engine over good for about 3 seconds then it stops. I turn the key off and back to start and it will spin the starter about 3 seconds again. Same thing over and over. It reallys spins good I dont think the batterys are low. As far as I know this truck is all stock. It does not show any codes. I am going to start checking connections today. Has anybody had one act like this. Thanks

Yes the prime seemed ok. I keep thinking electrical because of the cranking stopping. Its like it something shuts down the cranking after about 3 seconds. Thanks

I really have no good ideas. Are the batteries the original? Other thought is maybe a harness may have rubbed through or starter wire and grounds out when motor tilts just right.

I finally got time to check it more. The batterys are new. I charged them and load tested them. It cranks over with out cutting off now. It spun over fine before but would stop after about 3 seconds. I dont know what I did to fix that. It still wont start but it has a crank sensor code in it now. I will check that out when I get time. Thanks
