What's likely to cause this PO231 code? 96 Chevy automatic, new ops, & new relay.
The SES light comes on for awhile goes off and might not reappear for days.
Have customer with this problem.

Any translation in layman's terms as to what P0231 equals too?? That may help us a little bit.
Maybe muffler bearings need greasing? Or adjustment of piston return springs?
Sorry, I just had too. . .

Make a new ground wire to the frame for the LP if nothing else works.

If batteries show 13.6 to 14.2v, try the connectors in the main engine harness - PCM is main supply for lift pump in the OBD-II series.
Resistive fuse can cause low voltage.
That, and grounding, as mentioned above, which will also result in low voltage symptoms.
