Has anyone had problems with there torque converter bolts loosening?
last year i had a sqeaking sound coming from some where. I took the truck in for an oil leak coming from the motor, and they had to pull the tranny back out to fix it. The mechanic said the bolts were loose and he showed me some witness marks on the face of the flywheel. after that the sound when away, now it's back. Was there loctite on there from the start? I don't know, but the second time there was. yes I do have the complete ats set up. Just what to know if this is the only time this is happened.

It's known on the 01's and there is a TSB in regards to the problem.

I can't find that TSB anywhere. Is it an old TSB or something recent?

What were the conditions of the squeaking? I've had a squeak for some time that I thought was coming from under the dash. Now you got me paranoid

I had the loose torque converter bolts. Two to be exact one was backed out a couple threads and the other just loose.

IF you have bolts loosen up on an aftermarket setup, its likely installation error. Not tight enough or no locktite.

It seems to only squeaks when the motor is warm and i'm at a stop in gear. this is when I hear it the most. I originally thought it was the exhaust, but I checked everything, and it looks good.

Mine seems to be slow speed and bump related. I figured it wanst it but better safe than sitting on the side of the road

I'm going to run her for a while and see what happens. I just ran her on the dyno this weekend and everything held up so far.
