HI, my inlaws are looking at a 2002 2wd ext cab d/a. It has 74,000 miles. The dealer wants 19k, I know very little about the cost for a truck like this but I am the queen of research:o: Anyway, it is obvious you guys know these trucks- any advice I can pass along for them? Thank you.

1st - get the vin and post it in the "Vin check forum"

Well, everything lools fine on that end but the 1000,000 mile warranty on the engine doesn't show. Does it have it?:help: :help:

I bought mine a year ago and I paided $25K for mine with 42K on it. Mine was a Ext. cab electric everything but seat with the 6 speed and was a 4x4 so think you should be able to talk them down a little. Yeah the duramax has a 100K warrenty on engine and 200K on their injectors and something I have found out depending on how good or nice your dealer is GM also has a "good will warrenty" for 100K on powertrain componets for $100 deductable.
