Under full lock left the pitman arm brace hits the cross member and under full lock right the idler arm brace hits the cross member as well.

The braces have been hitting the cross member for so long there is actually a worn spot in the metal! I did a quick search and apparently a few others have experienced the same....

I am not sure if this is the cause of my front end noise while at full lock, but i'm a little upset that I have to remove both of these and grind them down...all the components are so rusted already it should make for a fun day.

So do mine I don't worry about it.

Won't hurt anything. The alternative is much worse.
