When I start off I get a rattle like metal vibrating for about 1-2 seconds then it goes away as soon the truck starts to pickup speed...only on take -off does it make this sound....anyone know where this is coming from ?:confused:

I had a exhaust bracket that came loose and was rattling on the tranny. Didn't see it until I crawled under the truck with it running. Of course you can't lay under your truck and take off. But it is worth a look.

I had a a noise something like that untill I was informed it was a rock(s) in the muffler's heat shield. You might look there. That cured mine.

I had the passenger side step rail bracket come loose. Would vibrate under idle and stop after you accelerated.

I had the bracket problem like XCMAN but mine had a crack where it's bent on a 90 rattle from Censored . Started to just bend out of the way but tacked welded instead.
