I have a 26 gallon tank and dropped it where is everyone drilling the hole at on this tank. its an 02. I dont have the spot on my tank where everyone is putting it

Also do you just leave the fuel supply line disconnected on top of the pump on the tank?

How about the plastic in the filler line? cant cut that pull it out then cut it?

The pic seemed to not match the pic for me either. Mine is long bed so 34 gallon tank. I just drilled a hole towards front of truck but cant remember if left or right side. For the unused fuel pick up I just cut the end off like 4" of the 18" piece that was removed that mates to it and stuck a bolt in the end and clamped it. Unsure what you mean on the last two questions. I just sat the tank on 2 2x4 fours on the ground where the straps would go. No need to lift up on saw horses.
