The day I picked up this truck I noticed that the oil pressure seemed low. Several months ago, I disconnected my bypass oil filter and put a gauge on the end of the hose. It showed 20 or more psi higher than the dash gauge. So, I figured it is probably the sending unit, and would get it replaced when at the dealer for something else. This week I had the recall procedure done on the hydra-boost and had them change the oil sender. Same thing, shows only about 40 psi going 70 mph when warm. Anybody else see this, and is there a fix for it? I hate to have them tear the gauges out of it and replace it if it'll be the same after that.
