Gentlemen (& ladies too!),
Just recently purchased and installed a rear view video camera ($345) from Tim at RVcams (www.rvcams.com (http://www.rvcams.com)). Wish I had done this a while back. With a campershell in place, my rear view visibility sucks, and when solo and hooking up a trailer, getting in and out half a dozen times was getting real old. Problem solved!

Not to give the guy a plug in advertising but, Tim's prices on back up cams are pretty reasonable and he makes an effort to test the systems himself since he drives an RV as well. Seen some systems on EBay but no guarantee in quality.

Mounting the 5.6" tft display low on the dash between the cig lighter and the 12v outlet seemed to be the best place for a nonobtrusive location.

We've had a lot of Obserview (a bit more costly) rear view systems installed on our utility trucks and have nearly eliminated all of our backing accidents. If one of these systems can prevent one of our Diesel Place Compadre's from dingin' their rig or worst yet, smooshin' a kid, I'll be happy I posted this!
Kindest regards to ya'll

Camera is mounted on top of the campershell above the door and looking downward, works great for hooking up the hitch. Monitor on dash centered and down low. Thought about placing it up high near the side mirrors field of view, but even the 5.6" monitor obscured some of the windshield view.

I'm still trying to figure out how to post pics on the forum - will do after a little more learning. Did it once but lost the instructions. . .can anyone help? Muchos grass
