: Custom classes for your track?

I want to talk more about what McRat had mentioned on another thread. He said that majority or consensus rules in deciphering rules at individual tracks and I agree. Say there is a class that you want to create for your member track or a rule that you wish to have different. Contact me and let's talk about it. This association is for the dieselheads, nobody else. If you want a different heads up class that is fair for all makes, write out the class using the format in our rulebook (addresses engine, driveline, safety, etc.) and if all the members at your track sign off on it (majority) we will pass it around tech here and approve it as long as it is fair to all makes and safe.
Heck, if it's a hit, we'll share it with the other member tracks. if they adopt it, we'll run it at the national events. Also, if you want to tweak the class requirements for the ET bracket classes for your particular member track, go for it. The member track deal is so you all can have fun at or near home. Just give us some written notice of what you are doing so we can keep up to date. Let's keep it fun, right? :beerchug:
