just bot an 08 GMC ccsb. thinking bout goin with the eagle alloy series 079 in the super finish black with the chrome spokes. anyone have any pics of these on a white truck, or any black and chrome wheel for that matter. and would you go 18 with more rubber or 20 with a shorter tire? thanks

the catalog on aewheel.com has a pic of an 08 body style white 1500... should give u a pretty good i dea what they will look like

I found that for going in sand, the 20" tires don't have as much flex in the sidewall, especially the mud-terrain style tires under 35" tall. The sidewall is too short.
For off-roading, the 18" might do better.

As far as looks, my personal preference has always been 18's with 35" and under tires, and 20's with 37" and up.
