: I need a locking hub for a 1990 1 ton

I have a 1990 1 ton crew cab dually 4x4 and one of the manual locking hubs just fell off! I guess the screws worked themselves loose. I tried my local dealer, they can't even get them, the local parts store wants $300 a pair. (this is in Canada) I have looked on Craigslist and such but no luck. If anyone knows where I could get a cheap one or a pair please let me know. I would also like to know what other models I could look at if I went to the scrap yard. I think they call mine a v30 and the hubs seem to be very big. I found a guy who had some from a 3/4 ton and they were too small.

All help is appreciated.

Thanks

Peter

The only hubs that fit are for a one ton....K-30/V-30. I have always used stainless steel mile-marker hubs. The model number you need is a 449SS. I found a guy that had some on E-bay and did not know what they fit. I bought 7 sets off of him for $50 a set! I doubt you will be that lucky, but they can be found for $150 US if you shop around.

I haven't bought any in a while, but I paid no where near 150.00, have they gone up that much? I think I got my last set from fourwheel parts wherehouse.

It should be a D-60 hub, if so then i beleive the Ford and Dodge hubs will work too. If not buy a new set from Warn, Warns have a great warranty.

Thanks for the replies.

A set from Warn is $150 USD, I am in Canada, when you do the conversion, add shipping, duty, and UPS fees (which are a rip-off) I am looking at maybe $250 CD. It would be easier to order the set for $290 CD from my local parts guy. These are the troubles we have here in Canada!

Thanks
