I am hooking up my Metra GMOS-04 and I noticed the gray 24pin harness does not have the red ignition wire. Is this correct?

I think i figure it out, it was on the other harness, directions are wrong.

ok i just got the after market radio and the GMOS-04 and yes i agree the instructions are not the best. didnt know if there was anyone that could give me the run down and how to hook it up?

very easy just match the wires up like the direction said, i had no problems with them.

ok so im a little lost i thought i did that and it doesnt work, i have the same pioneer that you have i think

Check ur connections, I fried my first Metra, second has worked like a champ.

the wire colors are different i dont have a blue and white wire on the radio side conector

you should if you have same radio as i do. can you post a pic of the harness maybe?

hey i got it figured out the dvd player didnt come with install instructions so i call the geek squad and they said that they usually dont because they dont want the average person trying to install them so yes now it makes WAY more sense. when i read the instructions they just said hook this wire to this wire and im like WFT how do i know what wire is what... so yeah now that i printed the pdf file from pioneer i got it wired up and put in the bypass kit so im good to go!!!! im really happy with it picture is awesome and sounds really good. but i was wondering do any of you guys have a screen protecter? i guess i ordered one

I do not have a screen protector. I also have the bypass. :)
