As all of you know ive been b*tching about my injectors for a while now.

I cant take my truck in for another week, I have diesel in my oil and a ton of it. Should I change my oil now? Or leave it for another week, my oil guage is reading way above full? I dont want my truck to break down from the diesel in the oil.

Yes, drain oil ASAP!!! I've done something similar and when you have too much fluid volume it will find a way to escape ie; main bearing seals, oil pan gasket and ............... like I said I'm not the smartest. Find/search "Gardenstream's" posts, I can't remember which but he had something like this happen while driving long distance. Someone else will ring in here with better info.

O my!

Yes or don't drive the truck. The oil is only getting diluted by the fuel and won't be able to do its job.

If they go out like mine did there was no oil left in the pan and I was blowing fuel out the main and all over the traffic behind me// YOU WILL HURT THE MOTOR// Mine has been at the dealer for a week now waiting for the injectors and water pump// Play it safe.. don't drive it//

I have no choice I have to use it, and i have to haul. I dont have anything else, I drained the oil today at 92% life left got back 14 qts of black watery oil. Ohhh god, also my truck seems to make alot of BLACK smoke on starts and stops is that the injectors overfueling? Filled the two 5qt jugs the oil filter was full and still had three more qts of oil. I ONLY PUT TEN QTS IN!!!!

Yeah, its the newest mobil in town TONS of diesels fill up there, busses, heavy trucks, pickups, tractors etc.... Talked with the owner they have the tanker trucks about every 4-5 days. He said that diesel hasnt sat in the main holding tanks longer than a week.

i have seen this happen and the truck driven aver a thousand mile on diesel fuel after the oil has blown out the overflow vent. what has happened is there is a little bb that is pressed inthe side of the injector in a machine port that has popped out part way and is allowing the fuel to leak into the crank case. i would recommend removing all your add on such as ecm controller as factory can and has more than once declined warrenty for having these on the truck stating that it has caused excessive fuel pressure leading to the failure. in the past three and a half year as a gm master diesel tech i only saw one engine lost after the crank case had been filled with fuel and that was done on purpose. don't recommend tring that if you get caught warrenty pays 12000.00 for the engine and 15 hours labor customer pay is 15000.00 plus 20 hrs labor. the engine will be fine but don't haul loads until you have it fixed that is customer neglect and not covered under warrenty. rental car is covered under factory 3yr 36k warrenty injector on that vehicle are covered 100k to 200k depending on state you are in

Gee, guess I was lucky according to the guy above!! My new engine only cost me a round $12,000 installed total. By the way ,my engine also blew from all that good diesel in the oil. It REALLY helps to lubricate.!!! haha

I had an injector go at 11,000 miles. Towing, on the freeway. Injector stuck open and the #7 cylinder got flooded with fuel, causing the #7 piston to get hydrolocked and crack, the rod broke. Truck's oil pressure dropped to zip then the truck shut down on its own. GM replaced the whole engine for free and paid for my rental.

Seriously, if you have been to the dealership and they have said it's normal, I would run that truck into the ground doing nothing important until the engine went. Then get GM to tow it back to the dealer and bite the bullet on the 2 weeks for a new engine.

Something's going to give in there and it's better for GM to eat it than you by babying it until you're out of warranty then have to eat it yourself.. Because that's EXACTLY what that service manager is trying to have you do.

The only fuels I can use in my area are L _ _ _' _ and C _ _ _ _ _ brands; the other brands take away engine/throttle response and make the engine very "LOUD".
