Could be the NSBU acting up when hot, check the wires and make sure they are pluged in well

If you have a P0700 code then there are codes stored in the TCM.Best to retreive them first.

Might be a problem with the F solenoid, which controls the torque converter clutch.

If the TCM thinks the F solenoid is stuck on it won't allow you to go into reverse. Reason being, if it were really stuck on and you were going in reverse you'd spin the engine backwards. A faulty F solenoid could explain both problems.

Check for codes in the TCM.

It might be a fluke, but I had a similar issue some time ago (last fall). Thought for sure that the NBSU was bad. My PRND321 display would go blinky-blink and the tranny would "pop" out of gear.....any gear....no movement. -:t Dropped it off at Cheby House. The only thing they could attribute this behavior to was a loose ground connector on the Passenger Side Battery. Ya ya ya, I know:eek: .... But since the connector was tightend, there has been no repeated problem for over 7 months..... Just an idea..
