Can anyone tell me if the tsb # 03-08-62-001b jul 03 Body applies to my 04. I did a search and thats all I could find on this topic. I went to my dealer last week and the service manager told me he will not replace the bumper till the rust is on the front not the backside. He also told me it should rust on the untreated side. Please help. I want to throw this in the service managers face.

Typical cheap metal. All of my American vehicles with steel bumpers have rusted on the back. I'll have to check my truck as I'm almost out of warranty.

Same problem here and the stealer laughed at me too. That's the kind of quality GM is putting out these days and on nearly $50,000 rigs mind you.

my 04 had 3 spots of rust all smaller than a pencil in dia. dealer replaced it under warrenty. new one looks like they rhino lined the inside of it. Its a oem I watched the job from unpackaging to installation.

My dealer is giving me a BS line and will not replace it yet. He wants it to get worse first. Prick!

My 03 bumper's starting to show rust and the other day at the carwash I peeled some more chrome off. It's off waranty by about 5000 miles. Is there any way I can get this replaced or repaied? How do TSB's work exactly?
