Ok I did a search and seen a few topics on this. The lights I have say no HIDs? BUt see a few people here it. My question is the low beam on these lights have a small lense over it? Will the HIDs melt these? It deff needs the HID for sure.

I have that set up, have had it for almost a year now with not trouble i love the view and it looks awesome. I do not drive a ton at night so i cant say there is no way they would melt but i also think i remember hearing something about HID's burning cooler than halogen bulb's.

HID's produce less heat than halogens.

If the lens is made for HIDs then obviously its ok to run em. If it says No Hids then there is a reason for it....whether it be the cut off on the projector, the way its designed from a base standpoint, or because it just doesnt allow em than I wouldnt run em in there. Personally I think there is only 1 company that I would use for aftermarket projectors and they aint cheap. Ive tried alot and they all didnt live up to my standards. Just my .02.

Yea it says no HIDs on the back of it. But I see people on here with the same style lights with HIDs, thats why Im asking. Would like to see how its works so far for them.
