As has been said before, don't waste your money. Get a transgo kit instead.

It's actually more fun and better for your alli to throw the money in the campfire or grill ):h

~~~I promise not to make smart arse comments~~~
Runnin, My advise is to not waste your time with it. If your looking for quick simple shift kit, you could get a transgo kit and perform the valve body mods with out pulling the trans. This will not be a true upgrade but its a start and if you ever pull the trans down the road, you could do the C2 mods
Not wanting to hijack the thread but I'v got a question, just out of curiousity what would installing only the valve body from a transgo kit do for you? Is this the type of mod that would allow you to run the tuners (like the Predator or Edge) in their lower settings with added reliability? Please don't get me wrong here I'm not sayin I want to pop in a valve body then go out and stack the Predator and Edge and flogg the hell outta it, I'm just wondering if this would be a wise mod for those of us wanting to run the 85-90HP tunes but don't because we know this is the upper limit of the stock alli and don't (yet) have the $$$ for a full upgrade.
I would not trust the transgo valve body mods by itself to be a HUGE improvement. I think you need to do the C2 mods to get the most effect. I wouldnt assume that to make it safe for stacking by any means
Transgo valvebody mods will work just fine for moderate horsepower. The only thing you will be missing is the C2 mod which increases piston apply area for the C2 clutch from 11 sq inches to 19 sq inches. This is the cluch most likely to limp first. Only other mod missing is the drainback springs for the early models. I don't use them for '03 and later as the factory has allready fixed the problem. If you guys do the Transgo valvebody mod you will probably fall into a false sense of security because the shifts will feel so good and put off doing the rest. Big mistake.
Check Eric's post on Transgo install here (http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1527). The valve body is in pics 10-12, the replacement valves are in 13-14, and where the valvve body bolts to the trans case is 15.
