Great site, and am very happy that I found it, it wasn't hard as it is very highly recommended!!!
Alright this is my first post since I purchased my 2002 Dmax about 3 weeks ago. Unfortunately it is about a problem I am having with my starter:confused: . About 10 times now the starter has failed to engage with the flexplate upon turning the key. As soon as I turn the key again it starts right up. I pulled the starter out and it seems to be in great shape with all teeth looking new. I also called the dealer to see if they have ever heard of this type of issue and they hadn't. I found the other post which mentioned that GM may have had a flexplate issue, but I have not heard anything else about this. Does anyone have any experience with this, and if so what solved the problem for you.
Thanks,
Derek
