I got to drive another member's LLY D/A 20 miles home from work last week. Tranny done, 5" exhaust and a 100 hp tune. Giggled like a school girl for the first ten minutes, stomped on it really hard the last 20 minutes!

I'm not sure my plan to run the 'hoe 1.5 more years to 180K miles will last (currently at 140K miles...)

Cool, but I would have liked to see what it did on the 1/4...

Thus far I love our '05 PowerJoke 6.0 (save it being a FORD)...no HG stuff yet and keep the fingers crossed.

I'm with you too. By not getting a new Duramax and driving a PAID FOR '94 I can save enough money to someday be able to afford a Duramax! :Pshyco:

Circular logic is the best kind!

I dunno CR, I am especially happy cuz I *just* paid my 94 off. I only got it last haloween from the original owner.

I got told today that my new work truck will be a 1 ton service bed with a duramax running biodiesel. I will see how that goes for engine envy. ;)

Ive only seen stuff like that a few times in my life, and it has always been some prick HS student whose parents bought him a truck to play with.

UGLY AMERICAN right there.

I have not made a Truck or car payment since 1996, I have a hard time justifing the almost $6,000 for Diesel option on a new truck when I bought my whole truck new in 1996 for $20,000 flat. My be I'm just a tight arse German but I would have a tought time making a truck payment that is nearly as large as my house payment. DURABUX yupp thats what I started calling them in 2002 and it's even truer today.:beerchug:

That's because of where you live. There are plenty of guys on here that are paying for their trucks themselves and do the same damn thing. Don't be mad just because yours won't do that...

what the **** are you talking about?

I see it as a little over the top, out of control. I like to spool it up but it reminds me of Road Rage the movies of bikers doing ccrazy stuff.

what the **** are you talking about?

Wisen up.

I have noticed that you seem to be out to get me.....odd, because I have never had much to do with you, or you with me, in the "other" area.......

I can only surmise that that you have an axe to grind because you do not care for my politics.......Also odd because you never put in your two cents in any of my posts.......ever. So I can guess that it is because you were too uneducated, or you lacked the general wherewithall to get in there and there your weight around like anyone else who disagreed..........But now it seems you have grown a ball, and you seem to want to have a brawl..........I guess big trucks blowing smoke and doing burnouts is more your level.......:muahaha:

Go ahead and PM me if youd like to discuss it further...........this is a waste.

wah wah wah wah wah wah wah

Dude grow up... Just because you hate everyone who's truck smokes... How can people not "be out to get you" when many of the things you post are always so negative about everyone else? Anytime anyone posts something they think is interesting you talk **** about it.

tranny-
Everyone else in the thread was just discussing it nicely.
Here's the difference between you and a good person like quantum. He just said, it's a bit over the top. Which is true, but who doesn't have an urge to go a little overboard sometimes? That's fine to say that.

But you have to jump in and say "disgusting, what an ugly american, hs kid." Even in a thread about a memorial you have to talk ****. Wow way to be negative and show your true hatred. If you hate it that much, why not just keep it to yourself? Seriously? I kept my thoughts about your pile of crap car you were so proud of to myself. Hell I have even posted in your threads trying to help you. I try to be nice to others on here like I want to be treated, but I get tired of seeing all your negative comments. And then you follow them up with such smartass "I'm smarter than all of you" posts. Why not just try to be a little less like the angry guy in the corner that hates everyone. Maybe if you come out of the corner you might find out the world isn't so horrible as you think.

Sorry, I lack the ability to hold back from telling you what I really think about stuff via the keyboard...........

Im acually quite good about it in person, in fact I pry woulda said just about the same thing as QM in person........I can bite my tongue with the best of them.

Whats so bad about the Memorial thing? If it is true, Im going to say it.

Come on Manny, it's just a bunch of young guy's talking about someting that they find interesting. Don't you remember the things that got you excited when you where in yor early 20's? People mature, let them have their fun while they're young. Besides it's not like they're talking about GW doing hole shots with his ford out in Crawford.):h

Wow.

A lot of anger here amongst the Duramax crowd. Maybe having all that horsepower gets the testosterone level up too high. You should be more like us 6.5 guys... mellow:hug:
