Ive already leveled my truck by cranking the TBars and it rides like horse sh*t, anyone know how to soften up the ride? any kits out there to fix the problem??

Make your own shock extenders might help or get a leveling kit.

I've read Cognito makes a nice leveling kit. Just try searching "Leveling Kit" Reasonably priced if I recall. You could lift it as well but I'm kind of partial.

I noticed a harsh ride on mine until I changed to a longer shock, so that it rode in the sweet spot of the shock instead of all the way extended, but I raised mine over 2 inches with white keys. The front end will still be stiff but good shocks will take the hard bounce out of it.

Both my CCSB 4x4 trucks took aprox 9 turns on the factory bars to level out. You will need longer shocks. IMHO the ride is the same if not just a tad better. ;)

MtRenegade... What shocks did you end up with? Name and P/N's please. Any other helpful comments? Thanks in advance. Brock in Colstrip.

I am trring an ranch 4" lift and then lowering the truck 2" by decreasing the torsion bar pressure. Should only raise the truck 2" total from stock and should ride better. I will let you know how it rides, once I get it back.

My truck seems to bottom out on everything, i think its the A arm hitting a metal bumpstop or something but it rides like total crap, looked to cognitomotorsports.com and im probably going to buy their leveling kit.

Rancho is a 6" lift w/ the torsion bars turned down to get 4". There is absolutely no way you will only get 2" out of that kit.

better shocks or a lift kit with really good shocks is the only way youre going to get the feel youre looking for IMO.

I will 2nd that info on getting only 2" of lift with the Rancho 4" - im running the 4" lift and I dont believe there is any way you could get that unless there was something like opposite of green keys ?

The bottoming that was mentioned could be from a number of factors - better shocks are needed, trim the bump stops ?, or something wrong. I trimmed my bump stops (rubber/plastic type) and it runs much better that way.

They are only using the Lower crossmember out of the kit. Not even sure if the kit was for this truck or an older model.

Not too sure how that is going to work. It doesn't work that way........all pieces will need to be installed to make it work.
