My Brother Has An 02 Duramax The Juice And Attitude Are His Only Mods, Stock Tranny, His Service Engine Soon Light Came On And When He Put His Truck In D All It Did Was Sit There And Blinked He Gave It A Little Gas And It Jolted In Gear He Cut It Off And Cranked It Back Up And It Went Right Into Gear But His Light Was Still On I Checked It With My Predator And It Said Tcm Malfunction, I Tried To Clear It But It Didnt Seem To Work , So What Should We Do To Fix This Problem, The Truck Has About 77000 Miles So I Dont Know If The Dealer Would Cover It Any Advice Is Appreciated. Yes it's the NSBU as I had one go on me last summer. The blinking is a sure sign also try engaging 4-LO with your gear shift selector in NEUTRAL. If 4-LO won't engage then take it to the dealer to confirm via the computer (scan for code) Good luck...................SWH...
