my friend wants some extra power for his 05 lly. he wants a little more mpg also. and he tows a camper in the summer. and does not wants to spend that much (i would not either after droping close to 40 on the truck) i figure on recomending something like the predator tuner.

any coments on what i should recomend to him also something with the alison protection would be perfered.

There are lots of LLY tuners out now. It really depends on his specific needs.

Edge EZ might be what he needs. Cheap, simple, good TQ.

I have good luck with the TTS Tow.

People are reporting the Predator is running high EGT's towing, but personally I haven't noticed.

Do a search and you will find literally 100's of threads about LLY tuners.

PS - If someone is looking for big mileage improvements with a tuner, it ain't happening. Maybe 1 mpg.

McRat is right sounds like he is a canidate for the EZ from Edge. Good HP increases, easy install and easy to take off for dealer work, and a good price too. Call us if you have any questions and we will be glad to help you out.

I've got a "slightly used" Predator for sale...........

The Edge EZ sounds like what I am looking for. An increase in normal driving hp and tq, along with an increase while towing my 5er, and maybe 1 or 2 mpgs. Anyone running one with an opinion on its performance, install, price, good or bad?

Question is can you run the EZ and the Juice together??? Not to hijack the thread. But can you??

States right on the Edge website ... in bold letters .... Do not stack the Edge Juice and Edge EZ ......

How is the EZ for EGT's when towing?

When you stack the EZ with anything I tested, the results aren't very good. And extreme rattle when stacked with the VA.

Not sure it's a good stacker.
