Hey all,

I found the boost gauge install steps but I was looking for a trans temp gauge install step guide. Hoping I don't have to tap the pan or something. Any guides?

Thanks you

Jon

I believe there is a service port on the drivers side by the shift linkage that you can install the sender but it's not as responsive as one in pan or return line. I installed mine in the pan, I oxy brazed the brass fitting and the probe threads into that, also a nice drain when dropping the pan. The best place for the reading I believe is the return line from the cooler, not sure on the steps for that.

DIdnt we just have a thread on this a while back? WHere to tap a tranny guage? I cant find it. I thought that port on the side next to the linkage was high pressure? And people were having issues with readings from there? Maybe not, i might just be loosing it...:(
