Leaving town for a road trip Thursday and need to make a decision.
Edge EZ or Superchip
Not going with the Edge Juice or attitude yet because of warranty issues.
I know it is legal, but I don't want to risk the hassle.
Don't have time to do exhaust now, but will after this trip.
Getting 8-13 depending on load at 1800 odometer miles. Want to try and help before the 3000 mile road trip.
Thanks in advance,

GO with the E/A. It is well worth it. :exactly: Leave it on level 2 or 3 and you will not have any problems. You also get the gauges built in!:cool2:

As I mentioned above, I'm not interested in having a battle with my dealer if I go with the e/a although I will eventually.
Another friend thought the Superchip was not as good a product as the Edge.
Just looking to see if that is the case before I pull the trigger.
Thanks for the suggestion,

I have the superchip and am very pleased. I run level 2 and have been averaging 16.2 around town. I have not made a long road trip with the tuner, so I can't tell you how it performs in those conditions. The difference in engine performance is impressive, also can check codes and recalibrate speedomoter for larger tires.

Mexico,
I would reccomend the EZ if for no other reason than you're concerned about the dealer. The EZ is a plug in that can't be seen by the dealer if you remove it, the programmers can leave tell tale traces for an experienced tech to see. The Superchip will make more HP, but the EZ sounds to be the best product for you. Give us a call we have sold quite a few EZ's for the Duramax and the 6.0 Ford's since they came out and w ewill be glad to help you with any questions etc.

If you plan on getting the e/a anyway, why not get it and just install the edge w/o the monitor and gauges for now? You can still remove it for dealer visits and will still have the extra power there when you get ready for it with the other mods.

Yes, that is what I am going to do.
I'll be calling Mark Craig this morning to do something along those lines with his guidance.
