How do you get a set of 6.5" speakers to fit where the stock 5.25" speakers are? Theres not enough mounting depth.

I have installed 6.5 inch components in the rear doors, I have pics in my garage and have more to load as soon as I can. I will tell you it is not easy, but it can be done. You have to allow for the window to slide down in the run channel and just miss the speaker magnet and the factory door panel grill to fit over the front of the speaker without touching. I also have crossovers in the door with a tweeter. It sounds great but does take some time and measuring to allow the window to operate properly. The window regulator hitting the magnet is the hardest thing to get. Hope this helps :cool:
