I've noticed that during regen my truck seems to have a noticeable increase in power. Has anyone ever had their truck on a dyno during regen, measured the increase?

My was always a little doggie in regen on the freeway, that besides the stink and max 1150 egts , I knew I was doing the EPA proud.

Mine has always had more balls during regen...nobody else (that I've seen) has ever said that though! Since day one it's been like that. Weird.

not sure, since I have yet to feel or determine when the truck is going thru a regen... 1700 miles and I don't feel or see any differnces.:eek:

I too have noticed an increase in power during a regen. It is a pain in the ass when you are trying to shift into Park or take the truck out of Park, and it lurches forward.

haha, i used to argue with my dad about the regen. he said he never noticed a difference, not even the smell. i know i did a couple times driving it, but he put around 60k on the odometer and didn't notice once.

Seemlessly sweet......... Get yourself an engine monitor like the Edge Insight...... Then go all OCD watching for every regen like me. :D

But yes - the truck does respond better when EGT's are cookin' at 1,100 or so degrees constant......

Mine has had noticeably more power since there are no more regens.:ro)
