Anybody tried stacking the Evo Race and Quad 2? Would it be worth it? I have both of them so I was wondering what would happen if I stacke4d them?...if that is possible.

IMO, I'd say it's a waste and not worth it to stack, IF it is even possible. The Evo Race is so much smoother, IMO, than the Quad it's not even close. Every tune feels stronger thoughout the rpm range, shifts 10x's smoother with little defueling. Much cleaner tuning than Quads, although I do miss the smoke the 110hp tune on the Quad would give. The lvl 4 Evo Race tune still won't smoke on my truck, only ran it for a few hours though, went back down to the lvl 3 tune. I could almost hear my wallet crying on lvl 4:D! Can't wait until I get a Suncoast and try out the higher tunes. Chris

They cant be stacked, both are programmers.

what about stacking a juice/ attitude with quad?

This you could do. Not sure it is worth it though...

Sure it is possible if your looking for issues do deal with.
Why would you want to stack besides, just because one is in the box.
Bad idea stacking tuners both for power.
Several stacked the Quad using only the stock no dpf, then stacked another tunner for power.
If I remember right from what everyone says the evo race does the dpf delete.
If your evo does not delete the dpf then stack the quad for that only.

D/AChris,
On the less smoke with the Edge,Edge started cutting back a little on fuel about 3 years ago in all of the tunes.
The theory was and still is, the Black smoke was just waisted fuel.
Edge felt cutting back a little on the fuel that would lead to better mileage and still retain the power, actually even more.
And burns cleaner.

They cant be stacked, both are programmers.

all you would be doing is unloading one program to load another

Even if it would work, it wouldnt be worth it. Besides you need a lift pump and some transmission upgrades to run either one on the highest settings.

I've used all three, orig.Evo, Quad and Evo Race.

You cannot "stack" the orig.Evo above Quadzilla's stock-no-DPF tune.
I tried . . . it doesn't work.

Quad's Stock-no-DPF tune is not factory-pure, causing a different ECM-checksum, of course.
Edge tuners, including the orig.Evo, refuse to load unless they find a factory-pure ECM checksum.

At the time I did not know how the Edge Evo installed,I thought it was the same as the Edge Juice.
The only way if someone was desperate enough and wanted to stack, would be with something similar to the way the Edge Juice Platinum installs with a tuner that tunes thru the obd II port.
But not both for power, only some function the other one does not do.
People has done this, but it is not recommended because something always over rides the other tuner and causes engine problems.
Never anything that changes tunes thru the OBD II port will not work.

On my 2003 Ford 6.0
I did this several years ago using a SCT Xcal I with trans tunes for better shifting along with the fan comming on sooner than factory setting, no power tunes at all.
Stacked with The Edge Juice Platinum w Attitude for easy power selection and having the gauge.
Worked great but was a pain removing the Edge for changes in the sct program or taking into the dealer everytime.

i wouldnt recommend stacking ever. both programmers are meant to advance timing so both will be trying to do what one is meant to do. if you want more power get a better programmer. efi or ppe hot will do the trick and you wont have to "ghetto'' rig the truck to make big power. doing it right the first time usually get you ahead. of course its your rig and you can do whatever you want.
