This has happened to both my dad's and my truck. When driving down a rough road it will sound like you have a bag of marbles bouncing around somewhere underneath the front of the truck. After a bunch of trouble shooting we found that the 2 bolts that hold the front brake calipers on to be worn causing the calipers to bounce around and sound horrible.
I was just curious as to if anyone else has had this issue with there trucks? Both trucks have a bunch of miles on them (around 200K) so its probably just a wear item. The dealer wants upwards of 80 bucks up here for just one of the special bolts you need to hold the calipers which i think is crazy. So we ended up going to a auto wreckers and taking some off the trucks there.
It just seems like a poor design on GM's part.
