There's a rather short article in this month's Popular Hot Rodding about water/meth injection. Unfortuneately, they picked a 1994 ford lightning for the testhttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif
The company they used was Snow's boost cooler out of colorado.
Anybody ever heard of these guys?

Matt Snow is a good man. He makes a good product. I decided to make the system a little more user friendly for our Dmaxes and developed my own. You can't go wrong with his stuff though. Get slightly smaller nozzles with the kit if you go down this route though. My nozzles are made just for my SD manifold and a quick change system.

Thomas,
:o: You brought up a sore subject...... The alkycontrol kits were mainly designed for TURBO BUICKS!!!!!! :o:
I've been told they are not perfered on the Dmax.....
Stick with whats known to work on the Dmax's...
Stick with an SD kit. Everyone else has had great luck with them...
(am i being too much of a $marta$$??? I'd rather be a $marta$$ than a dumba$$....)
If you want to be different and try the alkycontrol unit on the truck, you will get little support from anyone on the board but if you want to know where to tap the wire in for the MAP sensor, PM me...

Elowe65 no offence taken… I was just saying I use the alkycontrol kit on my Corvette and it works great. Actually ECS worked with Juan Don (alkycontrol) to come up with a kit for the Corvette. I will defiantly do my homework before I install any kit on my new truck… just throwing the idea around. I have seen the snow kit at A&A corvette when they dyno tuned my corvette and it look like a good kit.
I like to learn more about the SD kit…

Julio (sp?) is a great guy to talk with, very knowledgeable when it comes to W/I. His systems are nice and he’s more than willing to work with you when it comes to new ideas/projects or questions.
SD kits are popular on the board, user friendly (from what I can tell from others. I haven’t used one myself) and he seems to be very knowledgeable in W/I with the Dmax.
Matt has a great setup as well, from what I understand.
I don’t think you could go wrong with any choice you make.

I have a supercharged bbc malibu and from what i have read 50/50 water meth works better than just meth. It is supposed to take the heat away better. Which way is better or wrong or right? Just curious because I am getting ready to buy one for my Malibu and would like it to work the best possible.
