Hey guys, I wanted to get your input on witch subs i should go with.I am looking at either two Jl w3 8" in a ported box or a pair of Rockford shallow mount P3 12" in a sealed box. I will post a link to both.. So lets hear what you guys think ....Thanks

2 12's have more cone area than 2 8's, so the 12's will be louder with the same power. Depending on box volume (for both sets of subs) and port tuning frequency (for 8's), the 8's could play lower with more authority. It's kind of a toss up without more information on the rest of the system (power, sub box location, box specs for each pair of subs). Both are quality subs, so you can't really go wrong with either.
