Using hypertech with stage 2 program on the truck, which is 70hp boost. been like that for about a year. two weeks ago i decided to go stage 3 (90hp). it was great, couldn't believe the power differences. yesterday morning, i used the remote start like every morning. the truck failed to start, tried it again, same thing.
so i went out to check it over. made sure i had fuel, nothing loose, pumped the fuel primer just incase. nothing. disable the alarm, maybe it was the kill start. not it. i than decided to check for DTCs. and this is what i founded.

i cleared the DTCs. restored the factory program and it started fine.
then i reprogrammed it to stage 2. it ran fine all day yesterday and today.

Can someone tell me what the DTCs mean?
I would like to go back to stage 3 but i'm afraid to.

any input would help.

P1631 is a wrong Theft Deterrent signal, If the PCM doesn't receive the correct signal from the VTD (Vehicle Theft Deterrent) Module it'll cut fuel
