: Service ABS/Brakes ding ding ding duramaxedout 05-09-2005, 05:45 PM This is driving me nuts, I keep getting this message after each start up. I shut the truck off and it goes away...any ideas. Mine use to only do it after i seem to drive in the rain or snowy rds or something...for whatever reason...Latly it has done it whenever...Every time im at the dealer i tell them about the TSB, and everytime they say they checked for codes but nothing, so they wont do anything...This along w/them lackinf to do a several things when i had it in last week, is going to make me a unhappy person when i go back in a week or so.... gelecon 05-14-2005, 11:35 PM mine always did it if you left it in 4wd and then started it up the next morning. Sometimes it did it when in 2wd also but usually when in 4wd. Dealer was not much help. My girlfriends Z71 did it but 4wd controls went dead also. Same dealer did a re-flash and problem has been gone for 6 months. It was listed in a TSB. They clear everything at the time and it will still do it occassionally. They supposedly did the reflash with no change.
