Got my Stealth2 yesterday, and my MBRP 4" turbo back today, and just got cleaned up from installing and testing it out.

Some observations: The Hanger clamps for the kit SUCK, the instructions are horrible and it took a while just to figure out where the hell everything went and how it lined up. Once it was in it was clean, and hung free without any issues.

Stock exhaust was a PITA to get out (garage floor with truck on ramps) Had to lower the spare tire, and jack the chassis up to make room to fish the tailpipe section out.

Had to remove transmission bracket to get the cat & downpipe out.

Now is it supposed to whistle like a jet engine? When I first start it up (remote start) it will whistle, then go away for 2 seconds and sound normal, then go back to the whistle. Can it get it to not whistle? this thing also sounds like I'm running over 1000 cats when I get on it, it screams and halls ass with the 70hp tune. I'm not into all the smoke and noise, but if I rev it up it does smoke pretty good, not much I can do about that I suppose other than turn the tune down I would imagine.

Anyways, thanks DP for all the useful info. We'll see how it goes for mileage and towing, gotta haul down to bakersfield next week will report back how the mileage changed if any.

Yeah dropping the spare and transmission bracket is the norl for stock removal. I too had to raise the truck rear a bit to get it out. Hanger issue pretty common in any brand exhaust. That was the one think I did not hear the other stuff I read about before hand. Edge Evo Race I think can remove the whistle. But pretty much EFILive for sure. Set to the lower tune and see how smoke is. Not much one can do about it on preset tune tuner. If you really start to hate that then look into EFILive and get from a vendor here. Many provide a tune or two free with purchase. I went with Nick from duramaxtuner.

Enjoy your new setup.
