I recently installed the Predetor programer on my Truck!!! (Awesome Power) I know there is a learning period for the Auto Trans to go through.

My question is,

Does the learning process need to be done in both Tow mode and Non-Tow mode?

and

If they are 2 different learning processes, will the Auto Trans remember 2 different modes. Lets say mode 2 "Tow" mode for when I am in Tow mode and 3 "Economy" for Non-Tow mode?

it will have to relearn each time you change it. if you set it in tow mode on level 2 and go to level 3 tow mode, it will have to relearn. same as if you go through the different levels. the learning process is much quicker as it learns one of the others.

if you wind up driving differently, it will have to relearn the new driving style as well. like going from driving miss daisy to driving like crazy. have fun with it and enjoy your power.

The Alison control (TCM) doesn't like change. If someone can ever break the code maybe we can learn how to store tranny personalities for different tunes. It would be nice.
